IMPERO is the next chapter in our journey towards quality coffee and the perfect espresso. We are mere friends and family brought together by our obsession for the artistic and culinary aspects of quality coffee. We are driven to share this passion with the world and in return give back to our communities, the farmers, and all who have shared in giving us the love we have for our product.

IMPERO Coffee Roasters opened December 5th 2009 at the annual Holiday Gallery Hop. Our presence in the Short North has already been warmly welcomed, and our growth has been met with exciting and surprising events. Our focus on quality coffee, espresso and locally sourced lunch menu, has been well received.  We look forward to offering a new experience to Short North residents and all of Columbus.

Our food and pastries are provided by Lavash Cafe and Simple Sweets in Clintonville and the selection will change weekly. 

We look at coffee, the preparation, and the entire bean-to-cup saga as a form of art, and we really want everything about Impero to reflect that. Columbus has a great coffee culture already, and we hope to add to that.
